The Supreme 2200
air cleaner and smoke eliminator is a excellent unit for rooms and
areas that between 40 - 82 m2, and particularly those with higher
ceilings.
This is a robust unit designed to be mounted
to the centre of a ceiling in rooms where large amounts of air need
to be cleaned. It is ideal for pubs, clubs, restaurants, smoking
areas, offices, waiting areas, medical establishments and computer
rooms. Unlike other electrostatic systems, the Trion units have ARC
supression power supply - a system that is specifically designed to
reduce static cracking noise, which it typical of poorly engineered
units, and to prolong the life of the power supply.
The unit comes with a wall mountable hard wired controler for
selecting operation of fan and fan speed.
It has a 3 stage contaminant collection system,
the first of which is a washable prefilter. The main stage is a 'forever
filter' which comprises of an ioniser, which charges the contaminats
to enable them to be subsequently attracted to and collected on a
series of collector plates. The 'forever filter' is so named as it
is designed to be easily removed and washed so that replacement
filter is not required. Under the ASHRAE test the unit removes 95%
of airborne contaminants. The third stage is a disposable carbon
after filter for treatment of odours. Dirty air enters the square
lower face and the cleaned air is discharged evenly via, banks of
discharge slots on the top half of each side.
The unit has push button release, hinged
access doors that enable easy maintainance and filter removal. There
is even a service indicator light in the unit that indicates when
the unit is due for cleaning or when there is a power supply failure.
